Cairns Snakes was established in 2002 at Cairns. Since the start, David Waltons Cairns Snake
Removals and Wildlife Service’s specialises in the trapping, removal and relocation of snakes, native
species and feral animals in Cairns and district. We are licensed under the QLD Department of
Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP). The license enables us for spotting and relocation of
snakes from development & works sites, local residential homes. In addition to this, we are also
licensed for the trapping and removal of feral cats, feral birds and other local feral species.
In order to meet the demand of clients, Cairns Snakes are taking the pleasure to introduce the new
mobile application for the people of Cairns and other people in Queensland Australia. This new
mobile application will make the contact easier and faster. From the long experience, we understand
that no one will want an unwanted guest in the home. Therefore, in such a situation like a native
animal removal, it is a completely absurd idea to do an e-mail. However, calling remains the only
way of communication.
With the introduction of our application, you can now do a live chat with us. This function will enable
you to be in contact with us all the time. Therefore, in any case of emergency, you can cairns snake
catcher.
We cater our services to private homeowners, and to Government departments, property managers,
commercial buildings and site managers, cattle stations, farms and tourist accommodation.
To catch or spot any animal you need a proper licence. Following are some of the Legal
Requirements that one needs for native animal relocation or removal. In Queensland, land clearing
and vegetation removal is governed by local, state and federal legislation such as the Queensland
Nature Conservation Act 1992, the Queensland Vegetation Management Act 1999 and the
Commonwealth Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. Clearing
vegetation often poses a risk to native wildlife. Our Wildlife Services provide a professional snake
spotter and catcher service with local knowledge, understanding and experience of local conditions
even in the Far North Queensland region.
We are trained snake and reptile handlers with over a decade of experience in large and small
contracts of all kinds from Townsville to Cairns and the Tablelands in North Queensland.
